An adventure farm for young and old where you can experience the animals directly.
Our Arche-Hof farm has only been around for five years. We had the opportunity to build wonderful stables and agricultural infrastructure so that the animals can live comfortably.
Since then 40-50 cattle (dairy cows, young and calves), a considerable number of sheep, goats, some donkeys, horses, pigs and poultry have lived with us. An adventure farm for young and old where you can experience the animals directly.
Most of them belong to older breeds of domestic animals which are threatened by extinction today and absolutely are in need of conservation efforts. Lovely animals which warm our hearts. We know that this is how a farm should be.
This is how a farm should be
We combine the conservation of old animal breeds – that’s why we are called Arche-Hof – with a biodynamic management of our agricultural land. In other words, we work without artificial fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides. In a nutshell, everything is grown naturally. This is only manageable in the summer because of lots of work by employees, volunteers from all over the world and school classes. The result is worth it!
The farm is affiliated with some other work areas. In ‘Food and Drink’ you will find a more detailed description of the dairy, bakery, farm shop, butcher’s, manufactory, café and kitchen.

…when people see our animals for the first time. It can be felt everywhere: modern agriculture that does not serve merely for profit, but rather for the welfare of all human, animal, plant and earth. We love our work – take a look!
