How we deal with COVID-19 at Michaelshof
Dear guests, dear everyone,
at the moment, some questions are being asked in connection with Corona. We are happy to answer and hope to give some insight into our position!
In the farm shop we are complying to the official COVID-regulations: Mask, 1.5m distance, maximum of 5 customers in the store. The café at Michaelshof is currently closed. Of course, in all work contexts, the regulations apply according to the new Infection Protection Act of 24.11.2021.We advise all employees and friends to refrain from unnecessary travel; as soon as someone visits us, we require a negative test proof, not older than 24h for all involved. As long as the new Corona rules are in place, we have largely implemented a freeze on volunteer admissions. On the topic of vaccination, there is no directive within our community. For us, this is part of the individual’s decision-making process. There are no advantages or disadvantages for vaccinated or unvaccinated. The majority of our employees are vaccinated.
While we’re on the subject, we also want to say how sad we think it is that the fronts are hardening at the moment. People are looking for someone to blame for the pandemic, for the pain and suffering. That is understandable. However, we are critical of the fact that many friendships and, above all, a lot of trust is being broken as a result. We don’t think the solution is to point the finger at others. Rather, it is to keep a cool head and master this pandemic with intelligent solutions.
Lots of greetings,
Your Michaelshof-Team
