Today I’m leaving Sammatz, a place that has been my home for a total of almost 6 months now. Which seems weird to write because somehow this place messes up my perception of time completely. It feels like I spent much more an much less time here simurtaneously. I’ leaving a different person than I was when I came here.

This place is a true paradise, it only takes a short walk around the Waldsee and the arena on a warm August afternoon to appreciate this. But really it’s the people that make the place, all of the Sammatzians and other workawayers have been truly wonderful and all work hard to make this the place it is.
